A shared experience
WHETHER YOU ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY, ON A STOPOVER IN MARSEILLE, OR QUITE SIMPLY VISITING PROVENCE, EMBARK ON A DISCOVERY OF MORE THAN 500 PARIETAL WORKS IN THE HEART OF THE COSQUER CAVE.
The floating walkway will give you access to the building and the replica of the diving club.
You will then immediately board the nautical elevator that will take you deep beneath the ‘sea’ for a 35-minute exploration of the cave on board exploratory vehicles with a seating capacity of 6, at a rate of 24 people every 3 minutes.
You will discover all the cave’s treasures and you will be able to see the parietal works close up. After the exploration of the cave, you will be able to watch a film in the Jean Courtin amphitheatre. The short 8-minute film will enable you to relive the cave’s discovery and the dangers of Henri Cosquer’s exceptional diving expedition. You will then come back up into daylight and head for the Galerie Méditerranée located in the cantilever, where you will be welcomed to view a permanent exhibition devoted to prehistory and the rising sea levels, since the glacial period. The tour of all the areas in Cosquer Méditerranée lasts around 2 hours.
Included in the tour of the cave: audio guides available in 6 languages: French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian (other languages to come).
As of September 2022, visitors will, on request, have an opportunity to be accompanied by a private tour guide during the tour of the Galerie Méditerranée.
On the day of your tour, the group leader must go to the ticket office where he/she will be received to complete the final administrative formalities. It is recommended that groups arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the exploration.

GROUPS OF 20 OR MORE: €15 INCL. TAX/PERS.
